An InRoads user asked for Mark's help with revising InRoads abbreviations :
Mark,
I have a question for InRoads Affixes; I want to change the word "POE" to "END" when viewing stationing, same for the word "POB" to "BEG". The view vertical alignment dialog box has a place to change Affixes but not the horizontal alignment. I remember that I changed the word "PC" to BC and "PT" to EC but right now I can't remember where it was. Can you help?
Thanks,
Albert

Here is the Zen Dude's response:
Hi Albert!
The View Vertical Annotation has what I call 'Local Affixes' on that specific dialog box. Those control the prefixes and suffixes for that specific command only.

If there are no 'local affixes', then the Abbreviations under the File > Project Options controls thePrefix, Suffix and other Abbreviations.

But in the case of the View Stationing command, there are also Prefixes and Suffixes on that dialog box for each type of Point - PIs, Regular, Cardinals (PC & PT) and so on, relative to the Stationing display. So you have to check how those should be set as well.

I know this was a quick reply, but I hope it helps.
Civilly yours,
-zen
There is only one Mark Ditko. We need him for future training. I think he could help iron out some of the problems in the department.
