Charlie is an engineering automation expert, specializing in implementation, training and execution of 3D Design projects. He is founder and Manager of The Terrazas Group, with focus on producing renderings, animations and multimedia products to convey project vision to a broad range of target audiences. He possesses over 20 years of experience in computer graphic imagery and animation that spans a variety of media including broadcast television, Internet video streaming, DVD authoring, electronic presentation programs and print.

Charlie has worked for over 23 years in engineering consulting where he has been instrumental in defining the strategy and detailed plans which shaped how 3D Design practices, now known as the Building Information Model (BIM), are used in engineering firms across the US and around the globe. Charlie has participated in various design projects where he trained engineering teams to run advanced design software and develop procedures to execute projects with 3D design tools. On many of these assignments he remained on location long term as design lead or CAD manager to ensure project success.

Charlie has led numerous training classes and workshops in Bentley software. His primary training focus is Introduction to MicroStation, MicroStation 3D, and Rendering & Animation with MicroStation.

Charlie earned his B.S. in Business / Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and graduated with honors. He also holds a Certificate of Management in BIM with the AGC of America
