A Project Engineer asked for Mark's help with this InRoads task:
Hi Zen Dude -
I was wondering if there is a command or add-in for InRoads SS2 that would allow live tracking on profiles (or cross sections for that matter) where it simultaneously points a cursor on the alignment. Bentley GEOPAK has this feature, and I know they've added this useful tool in SS3 and up.

Hi Sasan!
In answer to your questions . . . as a matter of fact there is! But it's in a top-secret area of InRoads ; )
First . . . go to Application Add-ins and toggle on the Variable Manager.
Then go under InRoads > Tools and then to the Variable Manager and toggle on Tools - Simultaneous Tracking . . . the Description at the bottom will give you a summary of what it does.
Once this is toggled on, when you go to tracking (either Horizontal or Vertical) you'll see multiple tracking lines and feedback in the InRoads Status area.
But it doesn't work for Cross Sections.
