An InRoads book like no other, ever.
"I rarely have the time in a class to say everything that needs to be said about this software; this book allows me to say what should be covered." —Mark
Learn the underlying essentials of the software and how to "understand" it, not just robotically operate it; Instructor-led or self-paced.
Some of the many topics covered are:
• InRoads Version 8.2 and 8.4 • Exactly how to get started • Software symbology control • Precisely what each Lock does along with all of their associated commands • How to implement the software • The 2 different aspects of a Surface • Creating surfaces with contour data • How to create Exterior Boundaries • Relationships between the 4 Managers • Geometry layout using the PI and Element methods, among others • Rules of Typical Section Transitioning • The 3 mandatory characteristics that all surface data must be given • The relationship between the Geometry Style Manager and the Point Symbology • The exact relationships between Typical Sections and the resulting Surface models
Bonus CD:
• Expandable database with over 1000 searchable Pointers and Tips
Compelling accolade:
"This book is truly awesome - The examples and background explanations are insightful. At last - a reference source is available to help me solve the problems I have encountered while utilizing this software to design a wide range of projects. This is the reference guide that I have been looking for; it provides a detailed and comprehensive understanding getting to the core functionality of this software package. It has enabled me to use InRoads more efficiently and trouble free, and with simple explanations. This book has taken my InRoads understanding and utilization to a whole new level! This book has catapulted my understanding of Managers and Locks, and did it in plain English! Thank you, Mark. Sincerely, —Jim Rhodes. Design Engineer, David Evans and Associates, Inc.
