There are many tips and tricks to consider when using the InRoads software and a lot of these are simply undocumented facts. The truth is that much of this information is already in use by a select few, but new users don't usually have direct access to it. Knowledge of how InRoads really works, what is important and what is not, has to be constantly re-invented by new users. Aside from the recent Bentley InRoads Newsgroup, knowledge of how to get your work done with InRoads isn't disseminated well, so I decided to write this book and begin a database of knowledge.

This searchable database, delivered on a CD with the book as a special addition, contains many key facts that I have learned over the years. My intent is to include supplementary tips and tricks as I develop them, or others provide them. The Book-owner's Spot on this website will allow a current book owner to download updated databases of tips and tricks.
